How to Play Lucky Ape
Lucky Ape allows game players to use their gut/knowledge to predict whether the price of $BNB will go up or down in short intervals - get it right and earn a portion of the $GG winnings pool!
Ape Galaxy's Lucky Ape is a newly created product that we still consider to be in beta. We may make changes in the future to improve Lucky Ape. As always, the Ape Galaxy community team will inform users of any changes that will impact how the product works.
Accepting terms of the beta
Before you can use Lucky Ape, you’ll need to review and accept the terms.
Visit the Lucky Ape page. You will see a “Welcome!” window explaining that the Lucky Ape product is still in beta.
Read and accept the conditions if you wish, then click Continue.
How to make predictions for the upcoming round
Price predictions operate in 5 minute rounds. Apes must make their prediction before a round goes live to participate.
Check the timer apes!
To enter a round of Lucky Ape, apes must determine how much time is left in the current round. Apes can find the timer in the upper right-hand corner of the page!
Making a prediction for the next round.
After confirming you have enough time to enter the next round, you can place your prediction in the following ways:
In the "Next" section you'll see a green Enter UP button and a red Enter DOWN button. Click Enter UP if you believe price will rise in in the next 5min round, or click Enter DOWN if you believe price will drop in the next 5min round.
Each choice will display a different reward multiplier. The multiplier will change dynamically as the "Prize Pool" increases depending on other apes predictions. The Prize Pool is shown just above the buttons.
Upon making your choice, a new window will open. In the window, you'll see "Commit" to commit the amount of $GG you desire for your prediction. Type the amount of $GG you would like to commit to your prediction for this round in the field. You can also use the slider or click the percent buttons if you prefer.
After you have decided the amount of $GG you'd like to commit, click Confirm and confirm your action in your wallet.
The confirm button will fade as your transaction confirms - hopefully you gave yourself enough time for that to happen before the next round begins!
After your transaction confirms, an "ENTERED" message will appear.
All you have to do now is wait for the next Lucky Ape round to go live!
What happens when your entered round is live?
As mentioned, the live round will last for 5 minutes - in which you can watch the price of $BNB continually update.
Keep in mind you can't change your prediction during a live round - you are are locked in fellow ape, may luck be on your side.
What happens once your entered round finishes?
Seeing the results of the round
Once the 5 minute live round has finished, the "LIVE" section will change to "Calculating". Don't worry ape, calculating only takes a moment.
After the calculations are done, the finished round will move left and say "Expired". Results of the round will display with either UP colored in green, or DOWN colored in red.
If you missed the results at the end of the round, not to worry. You can scroll back a few rounds by clicking the left arrow.
Seeing results for older rounds
If you were away and would like to see the results for the previous rounds you've entered, you can use the steps below to find the results.
Click on the reversing clock icon next to the round timer.
A "History" panel will open. By default, you should see your most recent round at the top of the list. Click anywhere on the round to see more information.
Collecting winnings should you be so lucky!
If you won your entered round, a Collect Winnings button will appear. Click that button ape!
A new window will appear displaying your $GG winnings, you can harvest those winnings by clicking the Confirm button and confirming the action in your wallet.
Your $GG winnings will now be in your wallet.
Collecting winnings from older rounds
Apes are busy animals and may be away for periods of time. Not to worry, they can still collect their $GG winnings from previous rounds at any time!
As mentioned, to find more information on the previous rounds you've entered, click on the reversing clock icon next to the round timer.
A "History" panel will open. You can click "Uncollected" to view all rounds you've not collected the $GG winnings for yet (click a the transaction if you want to see more details). Click the Collect button.
A new window will appear showing the amount of $GG you can harvest. Harvest those winnings by clicking the Confirm button and confirming the action in your wallet.
Your $GG winnings will now be in your wallet.
Viewing historic profit and loss data
If an ape would like to determine how lucky they've been overall, they can review their historical PNL (Profit and Loss) data at any time.
Click the reversing clock icon next to the round timer. A "History" panel will open.
On the history panel, click the PNL tab.
The tab will open with stats for your historic performance in Lucky Ape, including your net results, average winnings, best round, and other information.
You can click the View Reclaimed & Won button at the bottom of the PNL tab to view those transactions on the BscScan explorer.
